“We’re here to serve the residents of this riding and we want to build a community that celebrates its diversity, a place where role models can have a positive impact on our youth,” said Kahlon.

Ardaas (a Sikh prayer) was performed to give thanks and to bless the campaign efforts prior to Harbaljit cutting the ribbon and thanking supporters for attending.

“I have always been driven by the value of seva that you, the community, has instilled in me. When Jagmeet Singh and all of you asked me to take on this role and to help build a better Brampton, I was honoured,” said Kahlon, “I’m going to work with this great team, which includes all of you, to build a better Canada, starting right here in Brampton east.”
